The Money
I cant work out what the picture on the left hand side of the notes is meant to be or who the name is on the signature.
I remember playing Monopoly as a child and looking at the bank money often saying to my brothers “imagine if this money was real”. Adding all the money up in monopoly will barely buy you a nice car today. This games till still adds up to a goodly sum of about 8 Million pounds. Imagine if it were real.
Memo Cards
16 cards, each one different. 9 that cause bad things to happen and 7 that cause good things to occur.
Oil News
Oil news cards are similar to memo cards except that whatever directions are on the card apply to all players and not just to the individual that picked up the card.
Insurance Cards
Before a ship leaves a port with oil, you have the option to take out insurance.
The cost is based on tonnage.
My calculations show that based on the chance of a transport incident, insurance is always worth taking. You will have more chance of losing your vessel an all the money associated than you have of saving a full vessels worth of cash before one sinks by not taking out insurance.
Shares
There are two share types:
Shipping Company
and Refinery shares
It is possible to win the game without producing a single drop of oil by using shares. This has the best chance of success when there are more players. When you own all the available shares you can focus back on producing oil, reaping in the dividends when they come.

Bill of Lading Cards
There are 36 of these each with its own source and destination port marked. As well as how much it will cost to transport the oil and how much revenue you'll gain from the transaction. Shipping is paid when the oil leaves port and the cargo value is collected when it arrives in port. It is possible to make no money on a deal because of changing Freight quotations. Here is a sample of 4.
The back of the cards are marked with the source location and you must take the first one you come across in the pile. When that port has no more cards in the pile then production tops for that port. When all cards run out the game ends.
Concession Cards
There are 18 oil wells available each represented by a concession card.
